Is Humanities really easier than Science and has no scope at all?
The answer to the question in a single word is NO! Studying Humanities is equally onerous as science and commerce are. People (generally from Science stream) usually develop an idea that humanities are just about reading and mugging up the facts and figures which in real sense is never true. 1. You have History and Political Science which require your understanding and remembering skills at a huge extent. You simply can't remember all the major events happened during over past 5000 years in history without understanding and linking things together nor can you get good grades in Political Science by mugging up the whole constitution and contemporary world political events, for that too you need a logical understanding of things! 2. Then you've Geography & Economics which are nearly 80% conceptual (especially Geography). The approach here is totally different from what it was with History and Pol.
